Bijan Robinson Continues to Excel in Primetime for Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson is setting himself apart in the NFL, especially under the primetime lights. With the most scrimmage yards per game in primetime since the 1970 NFL/AFC merger, Robinson looks to extend his impressive performance when the Falcons face the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.

Robinson’s brilliance isn’t confined to just his NFL career; his high-school performances were also remarkable. However, according to Falcons coach Kevin Stefanski, Robinson’s high school highlights don’t quite compare to his current NFL exploits. This peak performance continues, adding a vibrant chapter to Robinson’s career which began with his selection as the No. 8 pick in the 2023 draft.

In Week 3 of the current season against the Green Bay Packers, Robinson was nothing short of spectacular, rushing for 194 yards and two touchdowns. His performance affirmed his position as one of the top players in the league, a sentiment echoed by Packers head coach Matt LaFleur who praised him as ‘one of the best in the league at any position.’

In terms of his contract, Robinson is well compensated, reflecting his high value to the Falcons. After signing a lucrative extension in the offseason, he briefly became the highest-paid running back in NFL history. This investment by the Falcons underscores his critical role in the team’s strategy and offensive firepower.
